Description
We are pioneers in shared telecommunication infrastructure leasing. We have been in the forefront of this unique business offering in Malaysia where we build and own telecommunication infrastructures and lease spaces on these infrastructures to mobile telecommunication and broadband operators. This business structure was mooted by the Government of Malaysia where exclusive concessions were awarded in 2005 for each state/region in Malaysia to a company termed as State Backed Company (SBC) recommended by the respective State Governments. Through our subsidiaries, we co-owned and managed two SBCs in the northern region of Malaysia; Kedah and Perak. We are also the 0ne-Stop-Agent in this region where operators wanting to expand their network here need to appoint us for submission for permits. To date we have a total of about 300 structures in both states leased to an average of 2.6 operators per structure and with new emerging additional players in the market especially WIMAX operators, we are growing in terms of number of operators per structure and total number of structures.
